With blue being one of the top colours for spring, I just had to include this iconic Essie nail varnish in my 'Spring Makeup Must Haves 2014'. This beautiful cornflower blue shade is an absolute must for any girl hitting the town this season as it just screams spring with its fresh and uplifting colour what more could you ask for this spring?

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil - Electric

Fancy a pop of colour on your water line this spring? Then why not try these fabulous, long lasting colours from Urban Decay? A must have for this spring would definitely have to be 'Electric' as this colour adds that fresh, bright, wide awake look to the eyes.

Too Faced Sweethearts Blush - Candy Glow

For a luscious peachy pink flush, why not opt for one of these beautiful sweetheart blushes from 'Too Faced'? To get that gorgeous glow this season try the shade 'Candy Glow' as this offers the perfect mix between a peach and a pink and will add an iridescent sheen to the cheeks.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Of course I had to include the 'Naked 3 Palette' from 'Urban Decay'. This palette comes in a range of different shimmery, satin and matte shades perfect for spring and as you can tell there is a definite rose gold theme here. Just wonderful for creating day and night time looks this season.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick - Shocking Coral

Another way to put a spring in your step this season is with a pop of colour on your lips. These ultra vibrant and super moisturising lipsticks from Maybelline are a definite must for your makeup collection this spring. Brighten up your look and be bold with a range of their super shocking shades.

Another cheeky must have would have to be this new 'Clinique Cheek Pop' in the shade 'Peach Pop'. This beautiful pressed blush just screams spring with not only its gorgeous design but its ultra peachy colour and fantastic pigmentation, get glowing with this gorgeous orange hue this spring.

NYX Butter Gloss - Peaches and Cream

These lip glosses by NYX are just brilliant for any look this spring, they are just so effortless yet look gorgeous on the lips adding a hint of colour and an amazing shine. Not only do they smell delicious but they give off a gorgeous colour and with a range of different orange, peach and pink shades you'll be spoilt for choice this spring. I chose 'Peaches and Cream' as my spring must have as its just a beautiful peachy pink shade and is so suitable for this season!

Benefit Cosmetics - Lollitint

This versatile beauty is another one of my absolute must haves as this little pot goes such a long way and can be used on the cheeks and lips adding a beautiful orchid glow, so suitable this season!

Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara - Black

An essential this spring would definitely have to be a waterproof mascara and my chosen one would have to be the 'Maybelline Falsies Mascara' in 'Black' as I find that this one works great at curling my lashes and adding that essential bit of lift and volume and as its waterproof it ensures that there will be no smudging what so ever!

Tarte Cheek Stain - Blissful

And last but not least in another cheek must have! These new 'Tarte Cheek Stains' are perfect for Spring 2014 this shade 'Blissful' is a beautiful warm peach shade that will add a delicate glow and a brightening effect to your cheeks, perfect for the warmer weather!

Easter Makeup Look ♥

Hey lovelies! xoxo

Oh yes, that time of year is approaching us! Where we can eat as much chocolate as our hearts desire and not feel guilty about it. You got it, its Easter! I love the Easter celebrations with all the beautiful looking chocolate eggs, the Sunday diner and the family get together, nothing beats it. In today's post I'll be sharing my 'Easter Makeup Look' with you, from eyeshadow to lipstick, blush to bronzer I'll be giving you the inside scoop on one of my makeup ideas for Easter.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow - Walking On Eggshells

How suitable is this eyeshadow trio for Easter? The name just says it all and its beautifully selected shimmery neutral tones are just perfect for spring. This will be a definite go to for me on Easter Sunday.

Models Own Speckled Eggs Nail Paint - Dove Pink

Another no brainer for me was this nail varnish by 'Models Own' in the colour 'Dove Pink'. When these released I just knew I had to get my hands on them for Easter. Not only are they perfect for spring with their pastel hues but the speckled texture in the polish looks exactly like an egg! So cute and perfect for this season.

NYX Butter Gloss - Vanilla Cream Pie

Now I don't know about you guys but for me on Easter Sunday I want something light on my lips because if we're going to be indulging on all that chocolate we don't want our lipstick to smear all over the place right? I've opted to go for on of the gorgeous and well known 'NYX Butter Glosses' in the shade 'Vanilla Cream Pie'. Again I think this colour and many others from their butter gloss line are just perfect for springtime as they add a subtle pop of glossy colour to the lips and are easy to wear without the worry of sliding and gliding all over the lips.

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder

Another Easter appropriate product I'll be reaching for this spring is this bronzer by 'Bourjois'. It looks like chocolate and smells like chocolate so how perfect is this for Easter? While your eating all that chocolate you can be wearing it too! This bronzer gives a lovely glow to the cheeks, its not matte but its not shimmery it just has a very delicate sheen to it perfect for bronzing up the complexion.

NYX Cream Blush - Natural

This season I've been using more cream based products and one of them has been this 'NYX Cream Blush' in 'Natural' and I will continue to use this blush over the Easter period as I feel it adds a beautiful youthful and radiant pop of colour to the cheeks, adding freshness to the complexion. I've chosen this shade to go with my Easter makeup look as I feel it will pair nicely with the gloss and complement the eyeshadow colours I have chosen to use.

So there you have it beauties my 'Easter Makeup Look' the products shown above are ones I have chosen to wear for Easter. I haven't included the standard products such as foundation, powder etc as I feel this will pretty much stay the same in my Easter makeup routine. I hope you all have a lovely Easter and if you don't celebrate it I hope you have a relaxing holiday!

Monthly Favourites March 2014 ♥

Hey beauties! xoxo

Oh yes, I am back with yet another one of my monthly favourites. Today I will be sharing with you all the things I have been enjoying for the month of March. I'm so excited that spring is in full swing and am looking forward to the warmer weather we have to come. With that being said lets get into my March monthly favourites!

Make up

Wet n Wild Blush - Pearlescent Pink

After including this in my last blog post: http://vintagebeauty100.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/wet-n-wild-cosmetics-haul.html I knew I would love this blush for spring. Its such a universal colour as it can go with just about any eye look and lip colour as it has the perfect pink/peach balance. It adds a lovely flush of subtle colour to cheeks making your complexion appear more radiant.

Elf Eye Brightener - Buff

This next favourite I've had in my collection for ages now and after using it a few times and then going on to other products I decided to dig it out again and give it a whirl. I love how this product works and how it creates wide, bright and awake eyes. I also love the fact that this can not only be used under the eyes and on the eye lids but it can also be applied round the nose, the chin, cupid's bow and anywhere else on the face that needs brightening not necessarily highlighting.

Skincare

Treacle Moon Candy Jar Bath & Shower Gel - Sweet Lime Sherbet

Oh my gosh! This next product I have fallen in love with! Being a huge lover of citrusy, zezty fruit scents I knew straight away that I would already love this shower gel. But the reason why I am so fond of  this is not only because of the wonderful aroma it creates in the bath or shower but the fact that the scent lingers on the skin for hours and hours and I've also noticed how well its conditioned and softened my skin. So this definitely gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Well done Treacle Moon.

Haircare

L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise EverStrong Nourishing Intense Mask

Another old but gold product I've rediscovered in my haircare collection is this 'L'Oreal Paris EverStrong' hair mask. After using this for a while a few months back and falling in love with it I just discovered other products and left this tucked away in my haircare drawer. But after being in need of a deep conditioning treatment for my hair I found this one out again and have been using it for the entire month of March and still religiously now going into April. I just love how it makes my hair feel and smell. Perfection in a tube for all you lovely ladies out their with fragile/ brittle hair!

Other

Forever 21 Eyelash Curler

Now before purchasing one of the high end eyelash curlers out there I decided to go on a little hunt and try out all the inexpensive curlers on the market first. One I picked up was this one from 'Forever 21' not only did the gorgeous floral print draw me to it but also the fact that it has no handles where you place your fingers in, I have always been intrigued to try out this type of eyelash curler as I feel you have more control on how much pressure you apply when curling your lashes. So far I'm absolutely loving how this curler makes my eyelashes look, I'd say its one of the best inexpensive ones I've tried.

Stress Free Head Massager

This next favourite is a definite pamper must for me. I have really been enjoying this for when I really want to relax. It feels so good and just releases all the tension in your head. I love using this when I have headaches too as I feel it relives the pain slightly  and relaxing the muscles.

Sistema Water Bottle

Over the past month or so I've really been wanting to drink more water but found drinking out of glasses or cups not very satisfying. I was on the look out for a fun, bright coloured water bottle and when I came across this one I couldn't pass it up. I feel that having your own fun water bottle makes you want to drink more water as it motivates you to keep refilling!

So there you have it! That was my 'Monthly Favourites March 2014'. I hope you guys enjoyed reading what I've been loving for the month of March and let me know in the comment section below what you've been enjoying this March.
