Autumn Is Awesome Tag ♥

Hey guys! xoxo

I'm back with another autumnal post for you today! Yes this will be another TAG post because I absolutely love doing seasonal tags to get me feeling all festive! So today I will be doing the 'Autumn Is Awesome TAG', there are only six questions in this one, so it will be a quick but good one! So lets jump right in.

Q: Favourite/ least favourite thing about fall?
A: This question was super hard as I love so many different aspects of fall, but I think my absolute favourite thing would have to be that festive feeling, you know the feeling you get when you know that there are many good things to come. Something to look forward to, something to be excited about, whether that's just me or not but the way I see autumn is in a positive light and that good is to come in the last few months of the year.
My least favourite thing about fall would have to be dry skin! I cannot tell you guys how dry my lips and hands get during these colder months and no matter what I do they are always dry. But I guess that's the price us girls pay for the wonderful months we have in autumn.

Q: Favourite clothing item for fall?
A: I think my favourite clothing item for fall would have to be any type of woolly cardigan. I absolutely love just throwing them on either over leggings, jeans, skater skirts and dresses. They are super versatile and match anything and everything!

Q: Favourite makeup trend for fall?
A: Without a doubt my favourite makeup trend for autumn is dark lips! I just love it when the cold whether starts the darker lips come out. I've always been a fan of intense vampy lips and what more acceptable season to wear them in than fall?

Q: Favourite fall food/drink?
A: My favourite food to eat during the fall would have to be toffee apple crumble with cream. I absolutely love these as an after dinner dessert, they are truly delicious and perfectly suitable for fall as toffee apples are THE BOMB during autumn!
My favourite drink is hot chocolate with cream and mini marshmallows. I just love drinking hot chocolate in a cute festive mug, I look forward to my evening drink every night now!

Q: Fall TV show premier you're looking forward to most?
A: I don't really have a specific TV show that I look forward to during the fall. I absolutely love watching Keeping Up With The Kardashains which is on once every week, so I'd say that's what I look forward to the most as its still on going throughout the autumn months.

Q: Favourite fall tradition?
A: As we don't celebrate thanksgiving here in the UK (which I wish we did) I don't really have any type of autumn tradition although I do look forward to celebrating Halloween and Guy Fawkes (firework night) if that counts?!

I hope you all enjoyed another autumnal blog post to get you in the spirit of all things fall!

Top 10 Eyeshadow Palettes ♥

Hey beauties! xoxo

So in today's post I will be sharing with you guys what I feel to be my 'Top 10 Eyeshadow Palettes' of all time. Now these will range from drugstore to high end as I feel there are many extraordinary palettes to choose from! Lets get into it!

1. Stila In The Light Palette

I would describe the 'Stila In The Light Palette' as a versatile everyday to night eyeshadow palette. These colours can be worn daily and intensified for evening wear. The colours are extremely rich and creamy and the pigmentation is fantastic. They last on the eyes but like every eyeshadow a primer should be applied before application. These eyeshadows add shimmer and sheen to the lids and are suitable for all eye colours as the palette contains a mixture of warm and cool tones.

2. Lorac Pro Palette

I would describe the 'Lorac Pro Palette' as a professional eyeshadow palette containing eight shimmery shades and eight matte shades. The colours shown in the pan are very true to the shades they appear to be when applied to the lids. Being a professional eyeshadow palette these shadows do not crease at all, they are very rich and add warmth and depth to the lids.

3. Lorac Pro To Go Palette

I would describe the 'Lorac Pro To Go Palette' as an all in one shadow and cheek palette as it contains six eyeshadows, two blushes and a bronzer. The shadows and face powders are ultra pigmented and velvety smooth and the shadows do not slide off the lids. The shadows consist of three shimmery and three matte shades. This is a staple palette for every beauty guru!

4. Naked Palette

I would describe the 'Naked Palette' as the warm eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay. These eyeshadows are more on the warmer side and this palette contains twelve rich, velvety smooth shadows with a mixture of shimmers, satin and matte shades. When swatched or applied to the lids these shadows give the same colour intense pay off which can be built up or blended depending on the look you are going for.

5. Naked 2 Palette

I would describe the 'Naked 2 Palette' as the cooler eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay. These eyeshadows are more cool toned with twelve taupe-hued neutrals. What I also love about this palette is that it contains a matte black which is superb for any kind of look and can be built up to create a dramatic smoky effect.

6. Naked Basics Palette

I would describe the 'Naked Basics Palette' as the everyday neutrals kit from Urban Decay. These eyeshadows are six basic shades that you will need to create any look, from day to night this palette provides you with just the right amount of colours and shades. Like the 'Lorac Pro To Go Palette' this is a staple palette within the beauty industry.

7. The Balm Nude Tude Palette

I would describe 'The Balm Nude Tude Palette' as a fun neutrals palette. These colours can be played around with to create many different looks. Containing a matte white which can be used as an inner corner highlight or a brow bone highlight. This palette is unique as it brings a variety of different shades and textures together.

8. Two Faced Boudoir Eyes Shadow Collection

I would describe the 'Two Faced Boudoir Eyes Shadow Collection' as a brown/black smokey eye shadow palette. These colours are key when creating the ever so famous smokey eyes, and this palette has done a superb job in combining all the essential colours together. This palette contains a highlight colour, all over lid colours, outer v colours and more!

9. NYX Caviar & Bubbles Eyeshadow Palette

I would describe the 'NYX Caviar & Bubbles Eyeshadow Palette' as a more inexpensive neutrals palette. The colours are still of amazing quality and are extremely buttery and smooth. They glide effortlessly onto the lids to create an everyday eye look.

10. Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette

I would describe the 'Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette' as a 'holiday' palette as it contains twenty of the most vivid shades of shadow there is! This palette is perfect for parties, and the festive holiday season. This palette can be worn all year round as it contains a mixture of vibrant bight and dark shades.

Beauty Products Worth The Hype ♥

Hey everyone! xoxo

In today's post I will be discussing with you guys the 'Beauty Products Worth The Hype' these will range from drugstore to high end  but these products are ones that I feel are worth checking out and trying! So lets get into it!

Bioderma

I had to mention this product as it really is the best cleanser ever! It's so gentle yet its performance is so powerful you can see and feel the difference in your skin after just one use. So if you haven't tried this product I highly recommend giving it a go as it will change and improve your skincare routine!

Batiste Dry Shampoo

The Batiste Dry Shampoo's are definitely worth all the hype they've been getting, with their wide range of different dry shampoos you will be sure to find one that works great for you. The scents are just amazing and they leave your hair with so much more volume and texture!

Dior Crème De Rose Lip Balm

Although this lip balm is expensive, its definitely worth every penny. I absolutely adore this lip balm as not only does it look luxurious it feels luxurious on the lips too as it moisturises and hydrates cracked, sore and dry lips back to health to reveal a kissable, soft and smooth pout!

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

I couldn't not add these eyelash curlers in as they really are phenomenal! Want length, volume and curl? These are definitely the curlers for you as not only do they extend lashes they curl every single lash giving them a fuller look and feel!

Real Techniques Make Up Brushes

The Real Techniques makeup brushes by Samantha Chapman are truly outstanding. You won't need to spend fortunes on high end make up brushes no more! These highstreet/drugstore brushes are superb they have a drugstore price, high end performance!

Elf Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

This next product is definitely worth the hype (and a cheaper one too). The Elf Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder has been compared with the NARS Orgasm and Laguna Duo and rightly so as the shades are extremely similar, although the NARS one appears to be more pigmented you just can't go wrong with this one as it is practically identical apart from the price tags!

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque

This next product has been hyped up so much within the beauty community, and I can see why! This hair masque is essential for repairing dry and damaged hair, it can be used as a deep conditioner, a hair mask or used as your conditioner! Its an amazing, versatile product definitely worth getting your hands on!

Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo

Now I am a huge fan of all the Maybelline Colour Tattoo's. These offer spectacular pigmentation alongside brilliant lasting power. They do not crease and can be worn alone or as a base for eyeshadows.

The Original Beauty Blender

This was a no-brainer for me. I have loved the beauty blender for quite some time now, as expensive as it is its definitely worth it. This brings a whole new dimension to make up application and reveals a brand new way to apply foundation. This gives a flawless and almost airbrushed look, truly outstanding!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

This concealer definitely deserved a place in my 'Beauty Products Worth The Hype' blog post. As it really is an amazing full coverage concealer! Look no further if you are searching for a concealer that covers blemishes, dark spots & more because here it is!

Halloween Costume Ideas ♥

Hey guys! xoxo

Today's post is going to be a little different. Trying to figure out what to wear on Halloween? Got a Halloween party to go to and nothing to wear? No ideas? No inspiration? Well look no further because in today's post I will be sharing with you a few 'Halloween Costume Ideas' to get you in that spooky spirit! Lets get started!

Devil

The first costume I have chosen is the ever so classic 'Devil' costume. This can be interoperated in many different ways. The devil can either be black with red detailing or red with black detailing. Devil costumes can range from dresses, to full body suits to tops and bottoms. The accessories are the devils fork, horns and the devils tail.

Vampire

The second costume is the 'Vampire'. The vampire costume can be worn many different ways with a black cape, long dress and fangs.

Catwoman

The next costume is 'Catwoman'. This costume usually consists of a one piece with black high boots, a face mask and ears.

Skeleton

The 'Skeleton' can be worn in many different ways. Like this one it can be shown in the form of a dress. It can also be shown through a one piece outfit or even a top and bottoms. A mask can also be used to create the skeleton look even further.

Frankenstein

Next is a 'Frankenstein' like costume, the main colours for creating a Frankenstein costume are greens, purples and black. Paint can be used on the body to create the green effect or green tights can be added.

Pumpkin

The 'Pumpkin'costume can come in a variety of different styles, this style is an orange and green dress. Stripy orange tights could also be added to this outfit.

Angel

Angels come in many different varieties on Halloween. This angel costume is a dark/ fallen angel as dark colours have been used. You can go with the classic white angel costume too.

Victorian Doll

Next is a 'Victorian Doll' costume, this can be used to portray a child dolls or even the child itself in the form of a poltergeist.

Witch

This is the classic 'Witch' with the black cape, broom and hat. Greens, purples, pinks and oranges can be added to a witches costume to create more vibrancy and depth.

Mummy

Lastly is the take on a 'Mummy' costume. This can be worn in the style shown in the picture or can be worn as a top and bottom set. With the bandages covering the entire body.

All costumes & more can be purchased here: http://www.fancydress.com/costumes/

I hope you all have a Happy Halloween and happy styling if your dressing up!

I Heart Fall Tag ♥

Hey beauties! xoxo

Today I thought I'd do another 'Tag' blog post, as I feel it would help you guys to get to know me further. But this is not any tag, oh no, this is the 'I Heart Fall Tag' I absolutely love autumn/fall, its just the best time of year and I can't wait to share with you guys why I love it so much. So lets get started!

Q: Favourite Fall lip product?
A: My favourite lip product for fall would have to be the 'Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm' in 'Cherry Me'. I have been wearing this lip product everyday so far for fall and I love it as its not too bright, its a lovely pinky red, which can be built up for a more intense lip colour or applied lightly for a more sheer tint to the lips.

Q: Favourite Fall nail polish?
A: My favourite Fall nail polish would definitely have to be Butter London 'Knees Up'. I absolutely adore this shade, it has hints of crimson, wine and burgundy. I'm definitely one for wearing the darker shades of nail varnish and what better time to wear them than in Fall?!

Q: Favourite Starbucks Fall drink?
A: My favourite Starbucks Fall drink would have to be a cross between the 'Pumpkin Spice Latte' and the 'Salted Caramel Mocha'. Oh my gosh these drinks just scream 'FALL' and I always get excited walking past a Starbucks when I'm out shopping, all wrapped up warm. I just have to go in for a drink.

Q: Favourite Fall candle?
A: This was so hard for me as I absolutely adore candles! Firstly I'd have to say my favourite from 'Bath and Body Works' would have to be 'Leaves' (surprise, surprise) and from 'Yankee Candle' it would have to be 'Autumn Fruit', (currently as that's the first Autumnal candle I have burnt from my Yankee Candle collection and so far I absolutely love it!)

Q: Favourite Fall scarf or accessory?
A: My favourite Fall accessory would have to be my black woolly knee high socks. I adore these babies as they keep my feet warm all day! I've also been loving two of my scarf's recently, one is black and silver and the other is an army print design. Totally in love with accessories that look cute and keep me warm for Fall!

Q: Haunted house, haunted hay ride or haunted corn maze?
A: I'd have to say a 'Haunted House' as I just love the whole idea of being surrounded by strange and unusual happenings and looking into the history of the building and finding out who lived and possibly died there. It just sounds amazing!

Q: Favourite Halloween movie?
A: My favourite Halloween movie would have to be 'Ghostbusters' now whether this is a Halloween movie or not, I love to watch it around this time of year as it just gets me into the whole spooky vibe even more, and its so funny! ''Who you gunna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!''

Q: Favourite candy to eat on Halloween?
A: My favourite candy/ chocolate to eat on Halloween would have to be the 'Cadbury Fingers' in 'Toffee Apple'. I discovered these last Halloween and oh my gosh, I fell in love with a chocolate finger you guys! I highly recommend stocking up on these for fall. They are incredible!

Q: What are you dressing up as for Halloween?
A: Well if I was going to dress up for Halloween I'd probably dress up as Catwomen from 'Batman' as I absolutely love Batman!

Q: What is your favourite thing about Fall?
A: Do you know what my favourite thing about Fall is? EVERYTHING! Fall is my favourite time of year, its just absolutely beautiful. I thought I'd put together a collage of pictures in order for you guys to see how wonderful Fall is!

Happy Fall!
