Wet n Wild Cosmetics Haul ♥

Hey dolls!

So recently I stocked up on some 'Wet n Wild Cosmetics' after hearing so many positive reviews on many of there products I thought I'd dabble into a few of their cosmetics. In today's post I will be sharing with you the few things I picked up from Wet N Wild.

Wet N Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection To Reflect Shimmer Palette - Rose Champagne Glow

The long name aside, this first item I picked up was this gorgeous compact, which is part of the 'Fergie' line from 'Wet n Wild'. What really drew me to this was the beauty of the actual powder, I won't go too much in depth about it as I'll be doing a separate review on this product and all the others if you guys would like to see that (so comment below if you want me to do a review on any of the products I'm talking about today). This powder is just gorgeous it has a shimmery champagne base with pink and coral shimmery veins running throughout. I think this would make a beautiful highlight shade to really bring brightness to the complexion.

Wet n Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder - Catwalk Pink

The next item I purchased was the 'Wet n Wild Illuminating Powder' in the shade 'Catwalk Pink'. Now I absolutely love multi blushes, as I love to change up my blush colour so by using this product I can use each individual shade depending on what look I'm going for or I can just swirl them all together to create an iridescent glow on the cheeks.

Wet n Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder - Strike A Pose Rose

I picked up another 'Illuminating Powder' by 'Wet n Wild' in the shade 'Strike A Pose Rose'. This one is more of a deeper pink, more autumn/winter appropriate I think. I just love how these look alone or swirled together, they just give off the most stunning sheen and glow.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Blusher - Pearlescent Pink

Sticking with the cheek trend, I decided to pick up some of their 'Coloricon Blushers'. The first shade I got was 'Pearlescent Pink' after reading so many positive reviews on this blush I decided to give it a go. I'd definitely say this blush is known for being a very versatile one, as it just about goes with any makeup look you want to achieve as its just such a perfect shade of pink which complements just about every single other colour.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Blusher - Heather Silk

Staying with the 'Coloricon Blushes' the second shade I picked up was 'Heather Silk'. (Side note: has anyone noticed that the Wet n Wild blush names are exactly the same as the Calvin Klein ones?) Anyway I'd describe this shade as a berry pink and would look great during the winter time!

Wet n Wild Lipstick - Sugar Plum Fairy

Oh yes, I did join the Sugar Plum Fairy group by picking up this gorgeous lipstick. I just had to, it was one of my must haves and it just screams me! I love deep berry shades and after seeing all the hype about this lipstick I knew I had to have it as it is a possible dupe for 'MAC Rebel' I just had to get my hands on it!

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow - Spoiled Brat

You could say I went a little eyeshadow crazy but after hearing so many good things about the 'Wet n Wild eyeshadows', I just knew I had to have my share of them. The first trio I picked up was 'Spoiled Brat'. This palette contains a shimmery sliver, black with glitter and a shimmery hot pink. So basically the perfect smoky eye with a twist.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow - Knock On Wood

The next trio I purchased was 'Knock On Wood'. I absolutely love these shades as they are quite warm, neutral shadows but definitely not boring! These three shimmering shades include a light pink, mid tone brown and a browny purple.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow - Sweet As Candy

Next I picked up another eyeshadow trio in 'Sweet As Candy' (now can we just take a minute to appreciate the cuteness of these Wet N Wild eyeshadow names?!). This is one of my favourites as the colours do actually look like and remind me of sweets! This palette contains a shimmery cream shade, a shimmery brown and a beautiful shimmery almost frosty mid tone pink.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow - Silent Treatment

Moving on to another eyeshadow palette (yes I know, I'm obsessed, I need help) I picked up 'Silent Treatment' put the sassy name aside I purchased this one as again it just contains a range of beautiful colours that really do stand out and look gorgeous! This contains a light pink shimmer, a charcoal glitter and a almost muted silver shimmer.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow - Walking On Eggshells

Last but not least the final eyeshadow trio I picked up and possibly my favourite was 'Walking On Eggshells'. I absolutely adore the colour range of this trio as it offers a beautiful shimmery champagne shade,  cool toned shimmery brown and a lovely shimmery fleshy pink shade.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and seeing the products I picked up from Wet n Wild. If you would like to see individual reviews or first impressions on any of these products then please comment below.

Mother's Day Gift Guide 2014 ♥

Hey everyone!

Looking to spoil your Mum this Mother's Day? Well look no further because in today's post I'll be sharing with you some of my top gift ideas to really treat your Mum this Mothering Sunday! With that being said lets get started.

1. Flowers

Want to show your Mum how truly special she is and how grateful you are to have her? Then invest in a gorgeous bunch of flowers to really wow her. You can get an array of beautiful bunches from florists and even at your local super market. You don't have to splurge to get a truly heart warming gift, remember it really is the thought that counts.

2. Chocolates

Another sentimental gift would definitely have to be chocolates. But not any ordinary chocolates, 'Mum' chocolates. You can pick these up from just about anywhere at this time of year whether that be a card shop or super market you are guaranteed to find some special chocolates to give to your Mum as a sweet treat this year!

3. Candles

You can never go wrong with candles! Whether they are scented or just beautifully decorated, candles make such a lovely gift as not only do they look beautiful but can also come with heart felt meaning and if scented can provide a luxurious fragrance to fill any room.

4. Bath Goodies

There is nothing quite like a pamper evening and what better time to really spoil your Mum other than Mother's Day? Make her feel pampered and truly special with a collection of her favourite scented bubble baths, shower gels and soaps.

5. Hampers

Another great way of adding your own personal touch to a Mother's Day gift is to put together a hamper containing hand picked and personally selected goodies for your Mum. These can range from her favourite chocolates and sweets, cuddly toys, room decor, her favourite fragrance and much more. These are great as you can hand pick exactly what goes into this gift, by choosing how you'd like to display the gifts to what the actual gifts are or you can buy a ready made hamper containing a range of beautifully selected gifts.

So go on have a go, really spoil your Mum this year. Show her how grateful you are for her and how much you appreciate her. But remember Mother's Day isn't all about the gifts, it's about showing your Mum how much she means to you. Whether it be by telling her or showing her by doing extra chores or cooking her a meal just let her know on that one special day that its all about her. I hope you guys enjoyed this post.

Elf Haul 2 ♥

Hey guys! xoxo

Yes I am back with another haul for you guys. Today I will be sharing with you yet another haul of the things I purchased from Elf. Now being a huge fan of 'eyeslipsface' it’s very hard for me to just come away with one or two things. So in the end I result in buying quite a few bits which allow me to do a haul for you guys! So let’s jump in!

Elf Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick – Flirty & Girly

The first product I picked up was Elf’s version of the ‘Lip Crayon’. Now being a huge fan of these and Elf I just knew I had to try one of their own. Out of all the colours this was my preferred shade, as it’s more of a deep pink rather than a light ‘girly’ pink so to speak. Although when first applied this colour is quite sheer, it can be built up to create a more intense sheen.

Elf Lip Lock Pen

As you guys know I am a huge fan of the ‘Elf Lip Lock Pen’ so I won’t go into too much detail about this as it was just a repurchase but I couldn't not include this in my haul.

Elf Lipstick – Gypsy

As I was casually browsing through the lip products from Elf, I stumbled upon their ‘Essential Lipsticks’ after looking at the colours I decided this was the one for me because yes, surprise, surprise it’s a berry shade, in other words it’s a ‘Lori’ shade. So I knew I had to get it.

Elf Mineral Infused Face Primer – Clear

Like the ‘Elf Lip Lock pen’ this was just another repurchase. I thought I’d include this in my haul as it’s quite a decent primer for the price. It doesn't help to minimise pores that well, but it ensures the lasting power of your makeup, so for days when I'm only wearing makeup for a few hours I will usually reach for this primer.

Elf Mineral Lipstick – Rich Raspberry

Like the ‘Elf Essential Lipstick’ I thought I give their classic mineral lipsticks a whirl. I have to say the colour is not what I expected as it’s more of a neutral warm brown/berry shade, rather than an intense, rich raspberry shade as the name would suggest. Don’t be fooled as the colour in the tube looks different to when swatched or applied to the lips. I don’t dislike this colour I just feel it’s more of a natural, everyday shade, rather than ones I’d go for which have a bit more depth and intensity to them. But I like to change it up every now and then.

Elf Mineral Moisturising Lip Tint – Berry

Next is one of the lip tints. In the past I had purchased one of these in the shade ‘Natural’ as I wanted to see if I liked the formula and consistency first over the colour and because I liked it I decided to go for a colour more suited to me, ‘Berry’. I do love these lip tints, although they can settle into the lines on your lips they are still worth it as they provide a hint of colour whilst moisturising your pout!

Elf Moisturising Lipstick - Ravishing Rose

Oh yes, it’s only another lipstick! But these however are new from elf as they are the ‘moisturising’ lipsticks. I picked this first shade as its more of a toned down, muted berry pink colour, suitable for everyday wear or for when I don’t feel like wearing a bold lip.

Elf Moisturising Lipstick – Rosy Go Round

I also picked up ‘Rosy Go Round’ from elf’s new lipstick line. This would have to be my favourite out of the two as it’s a more vibrant colour. I’d describe this shade as a bright pink. This pink I'd say can be suitable for everyday wear  as it seems to be more muted than some bright pinks I've come across.

Elf Professional Shine Eraser

The last item I purchased was these blotting sheets from elf. After searching for some decent blotting paper/sheets for quite some time, I saw that elf had their own version back in stock and I jumped at the chance to give them a try. So far I have loved them!

Spring Has Sprung: Spring Fashion 2014 ♥

Hey beauties! xoxo

So it's officially Springtime here in the UK and what better way to kick start this spectacular season with some of my top picks for 'Spring Fashion 2014'. In today's post I will be letting you guys in on a few of my favourite trends for Spring. So with that being said lets get started!

Fresh Florals

One of my favourite trends for Spring would definitely have to be Florals. I love how versatile this trend is and how it can be both dressed up with a pretty dress, clutch and nude heels or dressed down with some floral print shorts, plain white crop top and canvas trainers.

Pretty Pastels

Another trend I absolutely adore for Springtime is Pastels. The range of muted shades bring a touch of soft brightness to any outfit and can be worn with one another, for example a pastel pink top with mint green bottoms. Pastels can be changed around so much to create a different outfit idea every time.

Classic Coral

The next trend is a classic and that classic is coral. This trend has been a popular one for a few years now and it will never get old. This beautiful colour can be worn through an item of clothing or an accessory to add a spring in your step this season.

Wonderfully White

Another fresh fashion trend this season would have to be White. This pure, delicate colour will bring light to any outfit and can be worn in conjunction with another suitable trend for spring time too!

So there you have it a few of my favourite fashion trends and must haves for Spring. I hope you enjoyed this post and now have some inspiration into creating your spring outfit ideas.

Monthly Favourites February 2014 ♥

Hey loves! xoxo

Oh my, I cannot believe its that time of the month again! I feel that February went by so fast! I only posted my 'Monthly Favourites January 2014' five posts ago! But now the winter has finally passed I'm looking forward to spring! So with that being said lets get into my 'Monthly Favourites February 2014'.

Make up

Famous Makeup Shining Star Shimmer Brick - Mariah

I purchased this late January along with the other shimmer bricks from their line, and I have to say I absolutely love it! This one would have to be my favourite as it doubles up as not only a beautiful highlighter but a gorgeous shimmery blush too! I love to use this on the top of my cheek bones as it creates a beautiful luminous glow and adds radiance to any complexion

Elf Complete Coverage Concealer - Light

I have has this hidden away in my collection for quite some time now. When I first purchased this I used it on and off as I didn't really feel it was making much of an impact in my daily makeup routine, so I put it away and at the beginning of February I rediscovered it and thought to give it another try and I have to say I have been using it ever since. Now don't get me wrong its not the best concealer of all time but using it in conjunction with my 'Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer' it just adds a bit more coverage.

Revlon Color Stay Ultimate Suede Lipstick - Preview

This next product I have began to use in the month of February. I purchased this lipstick along with a few others from the same Revlon collection a while back in January now and have only just started to use them and so far so good, I love the instant pop of colour these lipsticks provide, I love how long lasting they are and to top it all off they don't transfer! The only down side to these is that they can be quite drying. I will have a review on the colours I have got from this collection coming up soon here on my blog.

Skincare

Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Breeze Body Lotion

I only have one skincare product I have been absolutely loving during the month of February and that is the 'Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Breeze Body Lotion' its never too early for summer scents in my opinion and I just feel these types of scents add a spring in my step for the colder, dark, dreary months.

Haircare

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo

For the entire month of February I have been using only one shampoo and that is the 'L'Oreal Paris Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo' I have really been enjoying this product, as I was on the look out for a shampoo and conditioner combo that would help strengthen my hair as it has a tendency to shed and fall out, don't get me wrong its not severe, I'm not going bold or anything, its just that annoying shedding and fall out in the shower etc. Haha.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Conditioner

Like the shampoo this conditioner has been a holy grail hair product for me this February. I do feel its working for my hair as its helping to maintain my hairs strength and adds a lovely shine in the process.

Pantene Defined Curls Mousse

Another one of my must haves for February would definitely have to be this mousse from Pantene. I have been wearing my hair slightly wavy/curly for a few months now and after discovering this mousse late January I have been using it right up until now, I have just ran out so I apologise for the picture. I'm not sure whether I will re-purchase this mousse as I'd like to find another great mousse for creating curls. If you guys have any suggestions please feel free to comment below, I'd love to hear your suggestions.

So that is all my favourites for the month of February. I'd love to know what you guys have been loving this month, so comment below telling me your all time favourite for February. I look forward to reading your comments!
