Collective Haul ♥

Hey beauties! xoxo

In today's post I will be doing a Collective Haul. I'll be sharing with you guys the things I have accumulated over the past week or so. Ranging from make up, skincare and more! So lets get into it!

Britney Spears Fantasy Perfume

I'm not afraid to say that I've been a lover of Britney Spears fragrances now for quite some time and after trying her Radiance perfume. I decided to purchase her Fantasy perfume. I've been wanting this fragrance for years now and I finally got around to buying it. I won't go too much into detail about this perfume and the other one I purchased as I will be doing a review on them in a separate post soon!

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss Beige

This is another beauty product I've wanted to get my hands on for a long time now, and like the perfume I finally caved and bought it. I absolutely love this lip gloss as its just the most 'perfect pink' shade there is. This lip gloss is definitely worth all the hype its been getting for a while now.

Venus & Olay Replacement Blades

After purchasing the Venus & Olay Razor, I knew that this would be my all time favourite one. I love how this razor not only offers a close shave with 5 blades but also intense nourishment when shaving. It's so quick and easy, you don't even need to apply a shaving cream as this razor just glides over the skin removing all traces of hair leaving your skin feeling silky smooth.

Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser

You guys probably know that I'm a huge fan of Simple products after repurchasing their make up wipes and toner one hundred times over! Currently for a day time moisturiser I have been using the Simple Kind To Skin Light Hydrating Moisturiser after purchasing it in the travel size to try it out I then bought the full size because I loved it so much. But for the evening I wanted a more intense moisturiser but didn't want the greasy, shiny feel on my skin. After doing my research I came across this one by simple and I have to say so far I'm absolutely loving it!

NYX Xtreme Lip Cream Bonfire

Now when it comes to me and NYX lip products there couldn't be a better match. I absolutely love NYX especially their lipsticks and glosses. After reading reviews and doing a little bit of research myself I knew I had to get hold of one of the NYX Xtreme Lip Creams. As the pigmentation is just phenomenal as well as the hydration they offer the lips. I purchased the shade Bonfire as it just seemed to be the most appealing shade to me and one I will wear regularly.

Radox Coconut Kiss Shower Gel

I was in need of a new shower gel so I decided to pick this one up. I have used this one before and loved it so this was kind of a necessary repurchase. I love how this smells combining coconut with an almost exotic fruity scent. Just wonderful.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer Fair

Oh yes! I think you all know how in love with this concealer I am! After finishing my first tube up I just knew I had to get a new one, no questions asked! This concealer has become one of my beauty products I just cannot live without.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream San Paulo

Like the NYX Xtreme Lip Cream, after doing a little research I thought that these lip creams could not be passed up. Although these lip creams are matte and are something that I wouldn't usually go for as I find that matte lip products tend to dry out my lips.  I thought I'd give them a try and see if they stand out from the rest and after reading some reviews I thought why not?!

Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy Perfume

Lastly I purchased another perfume by Britney Spears and this one is the Midnight Fantasy. Like Fantasy I've been wanted to add this one to my collection also and its just gorgeous! I'd say this one is more of a night time scent whereas Fantasy is more of a day time fragrance. But I will go more into that when I do my review!

Monthly Favourites November 2013 ♥

Hey everyone! xoxo

So I'm back with my second favourites post here on my blog and today I will be sharing with you all the things I have been loving for the month of November. Again these will range from beauty to fashion, home décor to candles and random faves too! So lets get into it!

Beauty

Olay Essentials Refreshing Face Wash

I have really been loving this cleanser this month and have repurchased it already as I feel its such an amazing, gentle cleanser which instantly refreshing the face. I love that it works for nearly all skin types and it has the most beautiful scent and it doesn't aggravate or dry out my acne prone skin unlike other cleansers I have tried.

Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser

Although this is a light moisturiser I have especially been loving it for the month of November as I feel it gives my skin just the right amount of hydration without making my skin feel greasy or undernourished. This moisturiser creates a perfect base for makeup application.

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

Although I purchased this a while back now, I've only just discovered it again at the start of November and I have been using it religiously every single day and night! This lip balm helps to keep my lips smooth and chap free as well as helping the pigmentation of my lip colour.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner

Although I have only used this product for the last two weeks of November I have fallen in love! I noticed during last month that my hair was becoming increasingly dry at the ends and having rediscovered this beauty I purchased a while back I thought it was about time my hair got a bit more TLC. It was love at first sight!

Schwarzkopf Got 2 B Oil - Licious Styling Oil

I am down to my last drop of this and I have absolutely loved it. This oil is seriously outstanding, after purchasing high end and expensive styling oils with argan oil in them I decided to look around for a cheaper yet quality oil and I found this one by Schwarzkopf. I don't think I'll ever go back as this one works just as well as my high end oils.

Pantene Pro-V Volume & Body Hairspray

I am definitely one for having plenty of volume in my hair. As I have extremely thick hair this may come as a shock to you guys as to why I decided to go for a volumising hairspray well I can tell you that this hairspray gives your hair the sexiest locks you will ever have!

No7 Natural Blush Tint Powder - Soft Damson

This blush has been my staple autumn cheek colour and will continue to be my favourite winter blush too. I just love how this adds a subtle hint of colour to cheeks creating a natural berry flush.

Collection 2000 Sheer Loose Powder

When I first bought this a while back I didn't think much of it, but recently I have fallen in love with how well this performs on my skin. This loose powder works well to set my foundation in place as well as providing my skin with the most flawless finish.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

Oh yes! The famous Collection 2000 Concealer. Everyone and their mother raves about this beauty and rightly so as its one of the best if not the best concealer on the market. This has been my go to every single day for November due to the weather changing I have been breaking out a lot more and this little guy has saved me!

Fashion

Burgundy Leggings

For the month of November I have been loving wearing my burgundy leggings as I feel that they are so appropriate for this time of year and add a touch of elegance and class to any outfit.

Stone Woolly Cardigan

Another clothing item of mine that I have practically lived in this past month is this Stone Woolly Cardigan. I love how this looks with leggings and boots of even paired with a circle skirt and tights. This adds that cozy, autumnal feel to any outfit.

Stone Boots

Lastly are these stone boots. I have worn these beauties almost every day for the month of November and will continue to wear them as they go with anything and add that nice bit of edge to any fashion choice.

Other

Woodwick Candle - Cranapple Punch

I have been in love with this candle the past month. This candle just reminds me of this time of year with the build up to Christmas, the cozy sweaters, the warm, dark nights. This has just been a perfect autumn/winter scent!

This lip balm is superb for any girl wanted a bit of luxury in her life! With its creamy and indulgent texture this balm glides smoothly onto the lips providing long lasting nourishment and hydration! A must have winter essential in my eyes!

Glam Glow Mud Mask

After trying the sample size of this mask I have been wanting to purchase the full size for quite some time now! Absolutely nothing compares to the performance of this mask! This works tremendously in removing all impurities and build up caused by cosmetics, grease, oil and dirt off the face. Leaving your skin feeling fresh, deep cleaned and revitalised.

Bioderma

Bioderma will always be on my wishlists. I will never stop loving this cleanser/ toner as its so gentle on the skin. Perfect for all skin types, this works wonders in abolishing any dirt, grease or cosmetic build up on the face revealing a smooth, clean and revitalised complexion without the tight feeling afterwards!

Clinique Chubby Stick

Oh yes! The 'Clinique Chubby Stick', the lip crayon of all lip crayons! Offering not only a fantastic colour pay off but also terrific hydration for the lips!

Nuxe Reve de Miel

I also really want to try this lip balm by 'Nuxe' not only does not consistency look divine but the performance is phenomenal providing the lips with long lasting moisture revealing a beautifully smooth canvas for lip product application.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

This eyelash curler is truly outstanding! In my opinion I would say these are one of the best on the market. Offering a perfect curl to the lashes that lasts all day!

Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick Review: Fuchsia Flash ♥

Hey everyone! xoxo

Today I will be reviewing one of the 'Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks'. I recently received this in the mail as I had won this limited edition lipstick in a competition. So lets get into it.

I won the 'Mollie Kind Limited Edition Lipstick' in the shade '902 Fuchsia Flash'.

Description: I would describe the 'Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick' as an intensely rich lip colour with nourishing extracts of honey nectar.

Colour Pay off: The colour pay off of this lipstick is so intense and so vibrant that it will brighten up any complexion. This colour is a bright pink shade with blue undertones.

Lasting power: Like all of the 'Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks' the lasting power is phenomenal. This lipstick will last all day on the lips and will still look as vibrant at the end of the day. This lipstick is definitely a long lasting lipstick.

Effect on the lips: When first applied this lipstick glides on so smoothly and effortlessly, due to being enriched with honey nectar this lipstick not only gives off the most gorgeous colour but also adds nourishment and moisture to the lips. When dry this lipstick still feels as velvety smooth as it did when first applied, but this will not slide off the lips at all.

Veil Cover Cream Review ♥

Hey beauties! xoxo

In today's blog post I will be reviewing the 'Veil Cover Cream' by 'Thomas Blake'. If any of you are unfamiliar with 'Veil Cosmetic Camouflage', they are the best camouflage makeup on the market and is effective in hiding the discolouration of birthmarks, Vitiligo (white patches), Rosacea (redness), acne scars, burn scars, broken or varicose veins. dark circles under the eyes, temporary bruising after surgery, age spots and unwanted tattoos.

Before I start I'd just like to explain to you all a bit about 'Veil Cover Cream'. It was first created by Mr Thomas Blake and is used to cover a huge range of skin blemishes quickly, easily and safely. Veil is used comprehensively in hospital dermatology, camouflage clinics, beauty salons and at home.

I received the 'Veil Cover Cream Light/ Medium Sample Kit' which comes with a small leaflet, a sample of the translucent finishing powder and 21 light - medium shades. These include:

- White
- Wheat
- Natural-light
- Vanilla
- Cream
- Beige
- Oyster
- Medium
- Honey
- Natural
- Natural-medium
- Biscuit
- Natural Tan
- Peach
- Tan
- Dark
- Suntan
- No.3
- Almond
- Suede
- Latte

Having used products very similar to this, I was really intrigued by how well this product would perform and if it would cover more efficiently and evenly than the other brands I have used in the past. Now having tried and tested this brand I can honestly say I really do love the amount of coverage that can come out of such a small amount. This makeup has covered my imperfections and blemishes perfectly, creating a flawless makeup base. What I love about 'Veil Cover Cream' is that in can be used as an everyday foundation as well as a concealer and works really well with other products too.

Performance: I love how well the 'Veil Cover Cream' has performed on my skin. It glides on so effortlessly and sinks smoothly into the skin. It's easily blendable and can be built up for further coverage.

Coverage: The coverage of this cream is phenomenal! It covers tremendously well revealing a smooth, seamless complexion without clogging the pores.

Lasting Power: The lasting power of the cover cream is brilliant. It lasts all day and stays put! It doesn't slide off the face and does not transfer onto clothing either.

Texture: When first applied the texture is smooth and creamy, not greasy and not too thick either. It does not immediately set of the face, making it easier to work with. When dry it appears natural and looks almost skin like.

Feel on the skin: I would say the feel on the skin is light, but you know you have makeup on. It's not heavy on the skin, weighing it down at all. But you can feel that you have a bit of makeup on. But feels ever so natural.

Appearance: 'Veil Cover Cream' looks flawless on the skin. Even up close this cream in undetectable on the skin. Although it provides very high coverage it just looks so natural and not cakey at all.

Sweater Weather Tag

Hey guys! xoxo

Oh yes, today I will be coming at you with another tag. This tag really caught my eye as its another autumnal themed one and as you know I adore the fall! The questions are unique and different too, so I'd thought I'd share with you my take on the 'Sweater Weather Tag'.

Q: Favourite candle scent?

A: I always find candle questions so hard to answer as I just love way too many scents from different brands. But my current candle favourite now would have to be 'Cranapple Punch' by 'Woodwick'. I absolutely love how this smells and although its part of their Christmas collection I think its perfect to this time of year as it just sets that autumnal mood and gets you in the spirit for the festive season. It's just such a lovely scent and gives off an amazing throw to fill the whole room.

Q: Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?

A: I love drinking all three, seeming as I drink tea every single day. I have to say for this time of year I love making hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream and having it in a cute festive mug to just set the mood and make me feel all warm and cozy inside.

.
Q: What's the best fall memory you have?

A: I'd have to say the best fall memory for me would have to be evening shopping. I absolutely love going shopping when its dark during the fall time, all wrapped up warm and seeing all the pretty lights out and about around town. I just love that feeling especially nearer Christmas time when all the shops are full of festive goodies!

Q: Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?

A: As I have mentioned in my previous posts I love dark lips! Being a huge fan of more plum & berry lip colours there's nothing more exciting for me than when fall comes around as I get to wear all of my favourite lipsticks!

Q: What do you want to be for Halloween?

A: Well as Halloween has now passed and I didn't really do much except have a little get together. I didn't really dress up, but I think if I was to wear a costume I'd love to be a 1920's/ 1930's movie star. As I just love that era and the female film stars were gorgeous!

Q: Favourite Thanksgiving food?

A: As we don't celebrate thanksgiving here in the UK I can't really answer this question. But I'd say one of my favourite autumn/ winter foods to have would have to be cinnamon rolls. I love these as they just scream fall with a nice hot drink they can improve any day!

Q: Hats or scarves?

A: For me it has to be scarves. I wear scarves every single day during fall/ winter. I just love how they instantly accessorize any outfit whilst keeping you warm!

Q: Most worn sweater?

A: My most worn sweater would have to be my black one with lace panels on the back.

Q: Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

A: Definitely jumping in leaf piles, although I've never actually done it before its got to be more fun than a football game, right?

Q: Skinny jeans or leggings?

A: Definitely leggings, not only are they super comfortable but are also incredibly versatile and can be worn with just about anything.

Q: Combat boots or uggs?

A: Combat boots all the way, I absolutely love combat boots are wear them all year round.

Q: What's your number 1 favourite thing about fall?

A: As I love nearly everything about fall this was difficult. But my favourite thing would have to be those cold, dark nights, when your all wrapped up indoors with your pj's on, a hot drink, snuggled up in a blanket with a candle burning whilst watching your favourite show. So basically a cozy night in!
